A Tribute to Pulp
Common People · Different Class · Britpop
With Pulp is a tribute band born from an obsession — the kind that starts with putting on Different Class at 16 and never quite getting over it. We play Pulp's music because no one else's catalogue sounds quite like theirs: funny and devastating, kitchen-sink real and impossibly glamorous, all at once.
From the Sheffield council estate poetry of Babies and Mis-Shapes to the dark, cinematic sprawl of This Is Hardcore — we cover it all. Jarvis Cocker wrote songs about class and longing and sex and boredom that felt like they were about your actual life. We honour every one of them.
The Britpop era deserves to be kept alive. Come and pretend you never went to school.
"You will never understand how it feels to live your life with no meaning or control."Common People — Pulp, 1995
We've built several tribute shows around Pulp's catalogue — from full album nights to era-spanning Britpop sets. Each one is a love letter to Sheffield's greatest band.
